Everything local, everything good, and the fried calamari with aioli was the pick of it. A few pintxos and a beer then move on: that's how the old town works. Do the old town in the evening - pintxos and a beer/wine per bar, then keep moving. The bay is beautiful but the food is the reason to cross the border.Parque de Atracciones Monte IgueldoWorth a stopActivitiesTake the old funicular up if you can - but set your GPS to the funicular station at the bottom, not to Monte Igueldo itself, or you'll end up driving all the way to the car park at the top like I did and miss it entirely! Either way the view is the best in the city, the whole of La Concha curving round with Santa Clara island in the middle of it. There's a vintage funfair up there too and I went on the rides, which are properly creaky!
